Each February, our guest musicians travel to other parts of Alaska to share their talents and beautiful music with communities across our great state. In February, 2017, cellist Wendy Sutter and pianist Natasha Paremski visited Naknek (Feb 4-6), Dillingham (Feb 6-8), and Aleknagik (Feb 8). They gave presentations in the schools and community performances in the evenings.
Meanwhile, cellist Zuill Bailey and pianist Susan Reed traveled to Talkeetna on Tuesday, February 7, where they performed Zuill’s Grammy award-winning piece “Tales of Hemingway.”
