Each February, our guest musicians travel to other parts of Alaska to share their talents and beautiful music with communities across our great state. Check out some of the posts below for photos of previous tours. Many thanks to Conoco Phillips and the National Endowment for the Arts for providing financial support to make these tours possible.

In February, 2017, cellist Wendy Sutter and pianist Natasha Paremski visited Naknek (Feb 4-6), Dillingham (Feb 6-8), and Aleknagik (Feb 8). They gave presentations in the schools and community performances in the evenings.

Meanwhile, cellist Zuill Bailey and pianist Susan Reed traveled to Talkeetna on Tuesday, February 7, where they performed Zuill’s Grammy award-winning piece “Tales of Hemingway.”

We are tentatively planning a tour of Southwest Alaska for February 5-7, 2018! Stay tuned for more information.
